Mt. Whitney - Apr '06

Mount Whitney (14,497ft = 4.421m), situated in the Southern Sierra Nevada, is the highest mountain in the United States outside of Alaska.
Although it was not calendar winter (April 21.), the climb through Mountaineer's Route was in winter conditions. Skies were used.
